sproutpal

sproutpal copies the daycare photos and videos from the SproutAbout app (Learning Care Group) into Immich.

It logs in with your SproutAbout email and password, reads your children's feed, and uploads every photo and video that Immich does not have yet. Each asset gets the post date, a searchable description, and tags.

• One static binary. No dependencies, no state file.
• Immich decides what is new: by file name first, then by checksum. Photos you already saved from the app on your phone are not uploaded twice.
• Runs on Linux, macOS and Windows, or as a container.

Quick start

1. Install sproutpal.

2. Put your credentials in environment variables (see Usage):

export SPROUTPAL_SPROUTEMAIL=you@example.com

3. Look first, then sync everything:

sproutpal --sync --dry-run --maxbatches 1
sproutpal --sync --full

4. Keep it in sync with the systemd timers.
